Responsibilities
Develop, configure and optimize production processes from inception through to start-up and certification
Implement new products into production
Take measurements, interpret data and assess processes
Provide data analysis and feedback on process capability
Design, test and upgrade systems and processes
Define, characterize, and lead the implementation of new processes
Assure sound engineering and validation principals are applied to process design
Develop processes to be trouble free and ensure success every time (zero defects)
Assist with equipment selection and drive implementation of new equipment
Project Management to ensure on-time/on budget implementation
Monitor and maintain process controls
Lead process improvements while mentoring others to improve processes
Create process documentation and work instructions
Perform risk assessments
Support Safety and Quality systems
Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
Interpersonal skills. Work well in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Critical/logical thinking
Excellent computer skills
Analytical skills
Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred
Proven work experience in a manufacturing environment with Production Engineering or Process engineering
Preferred Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Polymer Engineering
Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
