Responsibilities

Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring
Receive, relay, and document all verbal, written, and electronic orders in the patient’s medical records
Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items, and patient monitoring devices
Will cross train-to work in clinic as medical assistant, rooming patients, and additional tasks
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians
Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Qualification

Radiology Technologist LicenseARRT CertificationAssociate’s Degree in RadiologyPatient CareEffective CommunicationTeamwork

Required

Associate's degree in Radiology or completion of certification program in Radiography
Licensed by the State of Indiana as a Radiology Technologist and certified as a Radiology Technologist with the ARRT
If not licensed and certified upon hire, must obtain within six months of hire
