Responsibilities

Oversee and manage a portfolio of real estate and commercial disputes, with a concentration on mortgage enforcement and creditor rights

Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and appellate briefs

Represent clients in both State and Federal courts, including hearings, mediations, and negotiations

Conduct legal due diligence involving the acquisition and sale of mortgage assets and loan portfolios

Contribute to strategy discussions and supervise aspects of litigation workflow and team performance

Confident negotiator with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with legal tech tools

Admission to the New York Bar is required; New Jersey Bar admission is a plus

MUST have commercial real estate litigation experience!

Preferred

Experience in bankruptcy proceedings is beneficial, though not required
