Responsibilities
Work within a project team to support water/ wastewater projects from initial project programming up to and through construction
Assist in the preparation of design calculations and technical specifications for a variety of water and wastewater projects, including utility pipelines, storage facilities, pumping stations, and treatment facilities
Prepare project plans including site plans, utility plans and profiles, process water and wastewater plans to support project approvals and construction
Support in the preparation of technical reports including engineering reports, utility master plans, capital improvement plans, condition assessments, and feasibility studies for water and sanitary systems
Conduct field investigations to assess site conditions, inspect facilities and provide engineering support during design and construction
Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members
Qualification
Required
Possess a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited college
0 to 4 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, including water and wastewater
Understanding of State, Federal, and local regulations specific to water supply systems, sanitary sewers, and wastewater treatment
Ability to work within multiple design teams and execute to meet demanding schedules
Have excellent technical writing and communication skills
Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship

Registration as an Intern Engineer in NY
