Responsibilities
Designing of steel and concrete bridges
Development of construction plans and documents
Developing Engineer’s Estimates
Load Analysis of ordinary and complex bridge elements
Experience in bridge inspection
Knowledge of NYSDOT and NYS Thruway Authority Standards and processes
Qualification
Required
Minimum 0 to 4 years of relevant experience in bridge design/analysis
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Proficient in the use of Bentley MicroStation and Microsoft Office
Ability to work within multiple design teams and meet demanding schedules
Have excellent technical writing and communication skills
Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship
Preferred
Registration as an Intern Engineer (I.E.) is preferred
Preferred experience in STAAD, MERLIN DASH and MathCAD
Experience in bridge inspection
Knowledge of NYSDOT and NYS Thruway Authority Standards and processes
