Field Service Engineer (CNC)
Talener is one of the nations leading machine manufacturers, and they are seeking a Field Service Engineer for their Seattle region. This role involves providing maintenance, repair, and installation assistance for CNC machine tools, requiring a mix of travel and remote work.
Responsibilities
Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of machine tools via phone or going onsite
Creating and updating documentation of technical information
Develop ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to Service
Build strong customer service relationships with customers
Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner and solicit customer feedback to improve service
Proven ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams
Basic computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to travel 50% of the time to customer sites
Qualification
Required

3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools
Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or trade school
Provide assistance and training to Customer's Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines
