Responsibilities

Produces and Evaluates images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of imaging exams and patients for treatment and plan of care for patients
Adheres to image specific policies in regards to patient safety that are established by the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, regulatory, and accreditation governing bodies
Maintains required levels of education that pertains to clinical, family, and patient centered care
Performs Computed Tomography Imaging (CT) studies utilizing knowledge of instrumentation and ionizing radiation (special attention to low dose), cross sectional anatomy, along with technology and skills to produce quality CT images for interpretation by a Radiologist

Required

A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement
Completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program
Registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) in both radiography(R) and Computed Tomography (CT) - Licensure by the State of Florida Department of Health, Office of Radiation Control
Current Basic Life Support, AHA
Advanced knowledge of computer applications (RIS, and PACS)
Auditory and visual acuity to properly perform imaging tests and procedures; manual dexterity necessary to operate imaging equipment and computer applications
