They are seeking a Senior Network/Security datapath/infrastructure Software Engineer to design and develop high-performance forwarding software for real-time network applications on multi-core architecture. The role involves working closely with a team to develop packet forwarding and security features for SDWAN/SASE/SSE platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and develop software for real-time network applications on a multi-core architecture

Design, Develop and maintain the NextGen Packet Forwarding and security features for SDWAN/SASE/SSE platforms

Work across Development, System Test, PLM and TAC teams

Work on challenging problems and bring in new ideas for platform optimization

Required

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study

5-10 years of hands-on experience

Deep understanding of TCP/IP and advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies

Expertise with general routing/switching, routing protocols (e.g BGP, OSPF), branch and DataCenter Architectures

Hands-on experience with packet processing pipelines

Thorough understanding of performance benchmarks and ability to analyze the same

Troubleshooting critical customer issues on a timely manner

Exhibit strong skills in C/C++

Preferred

Expertise with Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL is a plus

Experience of working with Ethernet/QAT/LTE/Wifi/SRIOV/virtio/vmxnet3/OVS interfaces is a plus

Preferable to have prior experience working with DPDK and multicore systems

Strong Linux Kernel development experience will be plus

Prior experience having built a scalable and high-performance system is a plus
