Responsibilities
Expected to have experience in the fitting and welding of utility or process piping
You would be part of a team installing piping systems in a variety of industrial applications, chemical, utility and process
Typical tasks include: Welding SMAW & GTAW, fabrication of pipe spools from isometric drawings, stainless and carbon tube / pipe, installing supports, some rigging
Qualification
Required
Have some construction site experience
Desire to learn a trade
Coming out of a trade school
Expected to have experience in the fitting and welding of utility or process piping
Welding SMAW & GTAW
Fabrication of pipe spools from isometric drawings
Stainless and carbon tube / pipe
Installing supports
Some rigging
At least 3 years of experience required as a working foreman installing equipment and piping systems
Familiar with carbon or stainless-steel welding processes
Interpretation of blueprints
Work crew leadership
Industry safety practices
Must be able and available to work overtime and weekends
Have current Drivers License
Reliable transportation
Own hand tools
Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
Welding applicants must pass a '6G' weld test prior to starting work
