Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is currently seeking Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. The role involves performing a full range of DRT Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including complex radiographic examinations and troubleshooting diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

Performs routine to complex radiographic examination procedures. These examinations are achieved by using diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic units, the chest unit, and general diagnostic units. The major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Using diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic unit, the chest unit, and general diagnostic units
Preparing contrast materials under the direction of a radiologist in order to perform exams requiring injectable solutions such as IVP, cystogram, cholangiogram, fistulagrams, and arthrography
Performing oral and rectal exams using injectable solutions
Operating a fully digital x-ray system and highly technical digital and computerized radiographic equipment
Troubleshooting equipment used in diagnostic radiologic procedures and making minor repairs and/or adjustments

Qualification

ARRT(R) certificationBLS certificationDiagnostic Imaging experienceCHEA-accredited trainingPrior VA experience

Required

High School Diploma
Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program
ARRT(R) certification is required
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
A minimum of two (2) years of proven clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
No sponsorship available

Preferred

Prior VA experience is desirable
