Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for an ETL Java Developer SME in their National Security Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area. This role involves supporting mission-critical systems in an Agile DevOps environment, focusing on the design, development, implementation, and testing of customer tools and applications.

Responsibilities

Design and implement a large-scale ingest system in a big data environment

Analyze and design the best possible ELT processes to support enterprise data objectives

Recommend methodologies to optimize visualization, organization, storage, and availability of large-scale data

Participate in software programming initiatives using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate

Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon

Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices

Leverage Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities

Required

Demonstrated experience performing ETL activities, including parser development, data flow management, data lifecycle policy implementation, and data model development

Experience with data modeling and relational databases such as PostgreSQL

Extensive experience using Java for data processing, manipulation, or querying (SQL or NoSQL)

ETL/Data Integration experience using Spring, NiFi, Kafka, and Elasticsearch

Experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

Masters with 15 or more years of relevant experience or a PhD with 13 or more years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

TS/SCI with a polygraph is required for consideration
