Responsibilities
Assist with major internal communications initiatives, including organizational announcements, divisional townhalls, and other events at the divisional level
Draft, edit, and / or review/approval internal communications from across the division, including newsletters, surveys, biographies and the intranet
Partner with colleagues across the Executive Office, Human Capital Management, Legal, Compliance, Marketing and within Asset & Wealth Management to ensure all internal communications consistently adhere to firmwide style and formatting standards
Use internal technology to track engagement of executive communications
Prepare briefing materials, corporate messaging support and talking points for executives
Liaise with our business to create a consistent voice across all communications
Qualification
Required
Self-motivated and comfortable working on daily deadlines
Superior writing and proofreading skills with versatility in format, including technical writing, executive messaging and copy editing
Attention to detail while working on multiple projects simultaneously
3+ years of Communications experience and Bachelor's degree required
Efficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Must be a quick study of complex or technical topics and be able to simplify those concepts into clear, precise writing
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Must be able to produce urgent communications on demand
Must be focused, accurate and organized
Ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively and effectively, in a group setting and communicate both verbally and in writing
Ability to recognize and respond well to changing priorities
Experience organizing events, including in-person offsites, town halls and educational webinars
Ability to support senior executives and deliver constructive feedback
Preferred
Experience in financial services
Experience with video ideation and production
