The Experienced Associate Attorney in the Workers' Compensation practice will defend claims against employers, manage a caseload, conduct depositions, and represent clients in mediations and hearings.

Responsibilities

Handle a caseload, manage deadlines, conduct depositions of parties, lay witnesses, medical providers and experts; represent clients in mediations, draft briefs and motions, prepare for and conduct and argue in hearings before an administrative commission

Perform legal analysis on new and existing claims, investigate cases, review and analyze medical records, develop case strategy, respond to discovery, draft motions, take depositions, attend hearings, attend mediations and negotiate settlements

Build relationships with a team of HGKG attorneys as well as a host of clients including insurance adjusters and risk managers

Create and submit reports required by the client, motions and briefs required to support the position of the client and negotiate settlements on behalf of the client
