The Director will play a central role in executing complex financial restructuring and liability management transactions, overseeing a range of responsibilities including client management and team leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day execution of restructuring mandates, including Chapter 11 filings, out-of-court restructurings, distressed M&A, liability management transactions, and financings

Oversee preparation of financial models, business valuations, and other financial analyses

Support Managing Directors and Partners in structuring transactions and presenting recommendations to boards, creditors, and stakeholders

Review and refine pitch books, term sheets, marketing materials, and other client presentations

Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, preparing marketing materials, and maintaining industry relationships

Lead coordination efforts amongst various stakeholders during live engagements

Manage junior bankers (analysts and associates) across multiple assignments, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development

Provide mentorship and development to junior staff

Required

5+ years of relevant investment banking experience

Extensive technical expertise in restructurings, liability management, and special situations

Strong client management and team leadership skills

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent)

Extensive knowledge of and background in investment banking

Strong background in financial modeling, finance, and accounting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Outstanding project management skills

Exceptional attention to detail
