Utility Projects Manager
The City of Fredericksburg is seeking a dedicated and experienced Utility Projects Manager to join their team. This role involves leading and managing public utility projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, resources, time, and budget constraints while maintaining high levels of customer service and stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Manage all phases of the project life-cycle from initiation to closure
Deliver projects within scope, resources, time, and budget constraints
Assist in developing and administering water and sewer programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in utility construction, operations, or project management
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Virginia, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire
Preferred
3-5 years' experience in municipal public works operations, administration, or project management in a local government setting
