The role involves delivering physical therapy services, documenting resident progress, and collaborating with the care team to ensure holistic care.

Responsibilities
Deliver physical therapy services as directed by the Physical Therapist, following individualized care plans
Lead residents through exercises and treatments that support recovery and promote function
Document resident progress and communicate with the care team to ensure accurate reporting and treatment updates
Encourage and motivate residents throughout their therapy journey
Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other therapy team members to provide holistic care
Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging therapy space that promotes well-being
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active PTA license in the State of Ohio required
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
A compassionate approach with a focus on functional outcomes
Preferred
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care is preferred but not required
