Responsibilities
Own the technical vision and delivery execution
Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering leaders to align work with business needs
Ensure the codebase and platform supports rapid product development across multiple products and geographies while maintaining quality, compliance, and operational excellence
Attract, retain, and develop top-tier engineering talent
Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and customer-centric thinking
Manage multiple remote engineering teams across platform and framework domains
Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable engineering practices
Drive the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available SaaS services and data engineering pipelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience
10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years of proven experience in leadership roles, preferably within mobile and web domain, including backend
Deep expertise in designing and managing cloud-based solutions with a strong focus on resiliency
Strong understanding of agile development principles and tools
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams
Experience with AWS (or other public cloud infra) and modern stacks
Experience working in a regulated industry
Bi-Lingual Spanish/English is a MUST
Preferred
Experience working on banking backends, particularly cores/ledgers, is a plus
