Responsibilities
Work with community leaders to educate the public on critical policy issues and legislation that are LIBRE'S priority initiatives
Be the brand ambassador and local face for the LIBRE Initiative in your community
Plan, promote, and execute large public facing events
You care about people and are able to build relationships quickly with people from all walks of life and understand how to inspire and motivate them
Self-motivated, always looking for the best way to use your time to accomplish objectives
Organized, able to keep multiple events and activities on track for yourself and the people you engage to help you
Work well with a team of people, including LIBRE staff and activists you engage
Ready and willing to canvass neighborhoods and make phone calls for LIBRE priority initiatives and LIBRE Action endorsed candidates, as well as motivate and coordinate volunteers to do the same
Qualification
Required
A deep belief in people-empowering, bottom-up, public policy solutions that limit the coercive nature of government and empower individuals to pursue their American Dream
Leadership skills! We need someone with strong people skills and humility to embrace our growth-focused culture
Comfort and confidence working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment independent of direct supervision or direction. We need a go-getter who can figure out how to overcome new and unique challenges
A valid driver's license to be able to travel as needed to meet with people in your area and across the state, as needed
To be fluent in Spanish and English and also have a deep knowledge base on the issues facing the Latino communities in Arizona
Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes in Arizona
Able and willing to work a flexible and changing work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect
Preferred
Knowledge of the political, economic, and legislative landscape of Arizona
A background in grassroots activism, political lobbying, canvassing, or campaign work
Experience managing and developing engaging social media
