Responsibilities

Manage all phases of roadway design projects from concept through construction documentation

Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams including civil and traffic engineers

Serve as primary liaison with clients

Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control

Ensure compliance with design standards and specifications

Review and approve technical reports, design plans, and traffic studies

Lead client meetings, public outreach, and stakeholder coordination as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

12+ years of experience in roadway and traffic design

Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State required

Experience working on projects for agencies in the New York City Metro area including but not limited to NYCDDC, PANYNJ, NYCDEP, MTA, NYSDOT, and NYCDOT

Demonstrated experience in project delivery including the management of client relationships and project deliverables

Ability to manage multiple technical assignments simultaneously to complete assignments to the client's satisfaction while maintaining schedule and budget

Strong technical competence and working relationships with clients

Self-starter with the ability to participate collaboratively and also drive outcomes to satisfy client and project requirements

Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation

Excellent communication skills and work ethic

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
