Responsibilities

Perform detailed engineering tasks including project design, cost estimates, and design calculations utilizing advanced knowledge and experience

Prepare project documents, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, aligning with project objectives

Independently tackle complex assignments, developing new and improved techniques and procedures

Coordinate across other Olsson teams and direct team members on design tasks to maintain alignment with project goals

Work closely with project managers on the execution of design work, reporting overall progress and managing potential challenges to meet project objectives

Assist with the project scope of work and schedule and may attend client meetings to foster strong partnerships

Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of less experienced staff, providing mentorship and guidance

Maintain project and client information within the firm’s project management system

Required

Strong communication skills

Ability to contribute and work well with a team

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Bachelor's degree in engineering

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong understanding of International Building Codes
