They are seeking a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Designer – Lead to oversee the E&I Design department, manage workload distribution, and ensure compliance with industry standards while producing technical deliverables.

Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Design department, including team coordination, mentorship, and performance management
Provide technical direction and design oversight on project deliverables
Develop design estimates and level-of-effort proposals for new work and project bidding
Distribute work to the design team based on skill sets and project requirements
Coordinate resource scheduling and monitor workloads to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
Perform electrical and instrumentation design for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities
Generate design documents such as PLC panel layout drawings, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting layouts, and installation details
Interface and collaborate with engineers, designers, project managers, and other discipline leads to ensure cohesive, cross-functional execution
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation design, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
Proficient in AutoCAD, including 3D modeling, and Navisworks
Strong knowledge of offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities design standards
Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Skilled in producing detailed design drawings and reviewing vendor documentation
Experience with wiring installation details and creating construction-ready documentation
Strong communication and team leadership skills
