Responsibilities
Lead hardware and production cell design, optimizing for manufacturability, cost, and scalability
Design, develop, and implement production tooling and equipment
Conduct design of experiments (DOE) to qualify and validate production processes
Develop and refine process documentation including build instructions, testing protocols, validation procedures, safety standards, and mBOMs
Participate in design reviews to ensure strong Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
Create and maintain detailed production plans and schedules, communicating effectively with all relevant teams
Identify, analyze, and resolve manufacturing issues and non-conformances
Mentor and train peers and colleagues to elevate manufacturing standards across the team
Qualification
Required
3-8 years of experience in fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environments (senior-level preferred)
Proven ability to take products from concept to production in a hands-on manufacturing setting
Expertise in DFM, tooling design, and process optimization
Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving production challenges
Experience developing process documentation and production standards
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
