This role involves driving the next generation of their Ads Platform by designing and delivering scalable solutions across both frontend and backend systems, as well as mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features from concept to production
Translate product requirements into technical specifications, architectural decisions, and high-quality implementations
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and observability via monitoring and alerting solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and team retrospectives
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Experience in backend development
Strong Java and SQL backend expertise, with a track record of building reliable and scalable APIs and services
Proven experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and/or Angular
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and core JavaScript/TypeScript (ES7+)
Experience in designing cohesive full-stack architectures that integrate frontend and backend systems seamlessly
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Gradle, or similar
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and related infrastructure components
Preferred
Knowledge of Java 8+ features and ecosystem
Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, LESS, or CSS Modules
Background in test-driven development and working in UNIX-based environments
Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
Understanding of web protocols, application servers, and web server configurations
Passion for performance optimization, maintainability, and long-term scalability
