New Grad, Entry LevelEmerson has an exciting opportunity in Sherman, TX, for a Weekend Shift Machinist. In this role, you will be responsible for producing complex parts, operating various machines, and ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities
Producing parts and meeting all specifications and tolerance required from work orders, shop orders, and/or Fisher specifications
Operating any machine, including manual and CNC machines, to its proven capability in a highly productive manner
Coordinating setups and programming issues with machine shop programmers including setting up the part, defining work planes, and managing different geometries
Inspecting all detail parts to ensure operations conform to requirement
Maintaining accurate and detailed records
Reporting status of work using computer input, bar code, or other devices as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED)
Completion of Machine Shop program at an accredited school or equivalent machining experience
Proficiency with Mastercam
Proficient with the use of manual and CNC machines including ability to read and edit CNC programs
Ability to use micrometers, dial calipers, functional gauges and engineering prints
