Responsibilities
Design and develop digital electronics, analog electronics, and power supplies for wireless hardware platform
Perform schematic capture and PCB layout design, optimizing for electrical performance, thermal management, manufacturing constraints, and cost
Conduct board bring-up, validation, troubleshotting, system integration, manufacturing test support, and field return failure analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept design through full design cycles
Transition of the electrical system design, including power management, micro-controller, and wireless communication to high-volume production
Work with and manage suppliers and manufacturing partners including overseas build support
Qualification
Required
5-10 years relevant work experience in digital/analog electronic designs
Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, validation, and manufacturing support
Hands on experience in working with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, frequency generators, etc
Experience with digital and memory interfaces (UART, CAN, SPI, I2C, USB, JTAG, Ethernet, PCIe, SDIO, LPDDR3/4, etc.), and signal integrity analysis
Familiarity with PCB stack-up, SMT process, In-circuit tests, manufacturing tests and designing for DFM/DFT
Problem solver with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience with Altium/Cadence design tools and knowledge with wireless (LTE/WiFi/BT/GNSS) system development and board level design is a plus
Experience with ARM based processors and PMIC design is a plus
Familiarity with digital ASICs and system design on Mobile phone applications
