They are seeking an Electrical Staff Designer II to assist in technical design, calculations, and document production for various projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
Develop design approaches and concepts in collaboration with senior design staff
Perform calculations and design engineering systems in collaboration with internal staff
Develop system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and schedules
Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for conformance to plan documents and project specifications
Prepare and modify studies, plans, reports, specifications, and designs for projects as directed
Learn and apply local, state, and federal regulations
Learn and adapt engineering information, codes, and standards into the project designs
Visit project sites to verify existing conditions and/or observe construction progress
Establish communication of design requirements with architects, contractors, and equipment manufacturer representatives to determine project scope and feasibility
Support engineers and project managers in daily planning, coordination, and completion of projects
Other project duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college or 3+ years of relevant design experience
Intermediate knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, AEC industry, codes, and standards
Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Revu, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and other industry software as required
Preferred
Fundamentals of Engineering Examination (FE) and certification as an EIT with a state licensure board
