Responsibilities

Translate and post-edit gaming-related content with precision and creativity
Adapt tone, style, and structure to reflect gaming culture, trends, and idiomatic usage in Dutch (Netherlands)
Collaborate with our assessment team to complete brief testing in our platform (linguistic + creative tasks)
Maintain brand consistency and linguistic accuracy across UI, banners, promotional assets, and in-game text
Provide feedback or suggestions for improving content relevance and user engagement

Qualification

Gaming localization experienceDutch language proficiencyGaming terminologyCAT tools proficiencyDegree in linguisticsCreative writing background

Required

Experience in gaming, apps, or creative localization
Strong familiarity with gaming terminology, trends, genres, and cultural context
Excellent command of Dutch (Netherlands) and deep cultural fluency
Comfortable using CAT tools and adapting content to multiple platforms
Degree in linguistics, translation, or journalism

Preferred

Creative writing background preferred
Published work on gaming platforms like IGN, Polygon, Kotaku, Eurogamer, or similar
Experience working with gaming or app-related services
A flair for adapting voice and style to Gen Z or gaming-savvy audiences
