Responsibilities
Facilitate DBT skills groups as part of an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for clients struggling with emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using DBT-informed interventions
Provide psychoeducation and coaching on DBT principles to support client progress
Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and insurance reviews
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Communicate and coordinate treatment with referral sources, families, and external providers
Maintain a minimum average of 25 billable sessions per week while fulfilling program needs
Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing DBT training as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health, or a related discipline) from an accredited institution
Experience in facilitating DBT skills groups or providing DBT-informed therapy
Familiarity with IOP models of care and evidence-based treatment approaches
Ability to work effectively with diverse client populations and multidisciplinary teams
Preferred
Licensure (preferred but not required): LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or CADC/CAADC
Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is preferred
