Perform on-site surveys of a facility’s equipment and systems
Perform reality capture services using 3D scanning equipment
Write up field notes and meeting minutes
Produce design documentation including drawing packages, P&IDs, and FDDs
Produce project documentation including scopes, schedules, and budgets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Zero to ten years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of mechanical design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science
Proficient in using CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and/or Revit
Familiar with industry standards and regulations
Excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
Writing, communication, and presentation skills
Excel skills and Windows software platform knowledge and experience
Strong work ethic
Good attitude and willing and eager to learn
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required
0 to 10 years' experience in mechanical systems design
Preferred
AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Revit experience is strongly preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
Construction and fabrication knowledge is a plus
