Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a part-time Surgery Tech for our Surgery Center. The Surgical Technician will assist the surgeon to ensure safe and efficient operations, providing nursing care to patients of all ages and supporting various surgical procedures.

Assist the surgeon to the completion of each operation safely and efficiently

Provide nursing care to patients ranging in age from neonate to geriatric

Serve in the role as a surgical technician in the Operating Room

Mainly assisting with surgical procedures, endoscopy procedures, dental procedures and assisting where needed in the capacity of a surgical technician

Qualification

Surgery Tech certificationOperating Room experienceAssisting with surgical proceduresEndoscopy proceduresPatient care

Required

Completed OR or Surgery Tech certification

At least one full year of direct position related experience in an Operating Room
