The role involves assisting in the design and development of highway, roadway, interchange, and drainage projects, while working closely with experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of conceptual alternative and final design plans for highway, roadway, interchange, and drainage projects
Assist in the design and production of traffic control and staging plans and traffic, signing, and striping plans
Perform geometric designs and plan development utilizing a variety of computer design software, including MicroStation, AutoCadd, InRoads, AutoTurn and GuideSign
Assist in the design of ADA-compliant facilities, including sidewalks, shared-use paths, and intersection curb ramps

Qualification

MicroStationInRoadsCivil EngineeringEIT certificationMath skillsMicrosoft WordMicrosoft ExcelCommunication skillsTeamwork

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
Zero- five years of civil engineering experience
Detailed-oriented, self-starter, and comfortable working in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred

Experience with MicroStation V8i experience with Bentley In-Roads
EIT certification and prior internship experience
