Responsibilities
Conducting feasibility studies
Preparing detailed design plans and specifications
Evaluating remediation construction bids
Estimating costs and managing the scope, schedule, and budget for various project tasks
Designing in-situ and ex-situ soil and groundwater remedies
Preparing technical reports in compliance with applicable environmental regulations
Selecting, coordinating, and managing subcontractors
Evaluating and mitigating vapor intrusion sites
Managing remedial construction
Managing and evaluating environmental data
Remediating and/or redeveloping Brownfields sites
Collaborating with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
Qualification
Required
5 -12 years of professional experience with an environmental/engineering consulting firm
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) is strongly preferred
Technical experience with the lifecycle of remedial treatment systems and technologies
Remedial project management experience (scope, schedule, budget, staffing)
Experience with management of remediation contractors
Strong communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
Experience conducting field investigations and phased reporting under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) is desirable
