Responsibilities
Develop, originate and maintain relationships with VC, Growth Equity, and Middle Market Buyout Firms working in close coordination with the Head of West Coast Fund Banking
Partner with the Head of West Coast Fund Banking, Analysts and Risk Management to proactively manage and maintain desired credit quality of the portfolio. Strong underwriting and deal structuring skills are critical. Deal underwriting will be a major component of the role
Collaborate with the Fund Banking team and Group Head to develop new products and strategies to meet the banking needs of clients
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Technology and Healthcare industries, Fund Banking community, and Stifel’s broad product offerings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or another business related field or equivalent experience required
3+ years' of commercial banking, investment banking, or private capital investing experience required
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Effective communication in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel software proficiency
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
