Responsibilities

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents

Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations

Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices, contributing to a cohesive and supportive team environment

Independently manage a litigation caseload as part of a team, working cases from beginning to end

Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Qualification

JD from accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in California8+ years insurance defense experienceTrial experienceDispositive motion practice experienceNegligent security experienceSuperior analytical skillsLegal project management experienceWritten communication skillsOral communication skills

Required

JD from an accredited law school

Admitted to practice in California

8+ years of insurance defense, premises liability, catastrophic loss, and general liability experience

Trial experience

Dispositive motion practice experience

Superior analytical skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred

Premises security experience

Negligent security experience a plus

Legal project management experience is helpful
