Responsibilities

Provide the beneficiary with a thorough understanding of the AFRL/RX System Administration Team's roles and responsibilities

Develop the beneficiary's skills and knowledge required to provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support for an organization

Further develop skills necessary to complete common system administration tasks in an Active Directory environment

Introduce the beneficiary to advanced concepts and techniques to include group policy, puppet, and other similar automation technologies

Provide hands-on experience in a real-world environment, and an opportunity to demonstrate the skills gained from this program

Required

You must be active duty military and eligible for DOD Skillbridge

Active secret security clearance

Familiarity with computers, including typing, using a mouse, and navigating a Windows or macOS operating system

Advanced familiarity with computers, including advanced OS topics, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and basic networking

Familiarity with basic administration tools and methodologies such as service, task and disk managers, user and group management, Active Directory concepts and tools

Requires a Security+ certification
