Sr. Counsel, Consumer Litigation
Tesla is looking for an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their Consumer Litigation team within the Legal department. The Sr. Counsel will represent and defend Tesla in single plaintiff consumer matters related to vehicle and energy products, managing a high volume litigation docket and advising business partners on legal issues.

Responsibilities
Represent and defend Tesla in all aspects of a high volume, fast paced single plaintiff consumer litigation docket
Factual investigation, analyze legal issues, and independently develop litigation strategies
Respond to demands, complaints, other pleadings, and represent Tesla at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trials and other proceedings
Identify and prepare witnesses for deposition, arbitration or trial
Support, advise and train business partners on legal issues
Supervise and partner with outside counsel on select matters
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
California state bar attorney license
6+ years litigation experience, preferably independently managing a large docket. Experience in warranty, lemon law is a plus
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Excellent analytical, critical, and strategic thinking skills
Business-savvy, creative approach to problem-solving
Desire to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
