They are seeking a Project Engineer to assist with the design and preparation of community infrastructure projects in their Columbus, OH municipal services team.

Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with licensed engineers assisting with the design and preparation of a variety of community infrastructure projects (ie. water/waste water, roadway, recreational facilities etc.) throughout the Midwest
Coordinate with fellow MSG staff across a variety of services sectors including: Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, Site Construction, etc
Perform and check various design calculations and various tasks as they relate to preparing a design package
Preparing front end feasibility documents, due diligence reports and zoning studies, project development, storm water modeling and design, cost estimates and detailed design plans
Assist local agencies with review of development plans
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related engineering field
EI certification in the state of Ohio required, with a PE preferred
At least 4 years of related experience
Practical experience in design and plan preparation of site development projects
Experience with industry design standards
Understanding of guidelines and specifications. (i.e., City of Columbus and surrounding counties, ODOT, and etc.)
Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D or Microstation grading required
The ability to engage reviewing agencies while preparing technical designs and addressing comments is a critical part of our process
The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating and coordinating with clients and review agencies
Technical writing skills
Preferred
Proficiency in independent preparation of Hydraulic/Hydrologic reports is preferred
Roadway design and survey experience are a plus
