Responsibilities
Provides infusion and other skilled nursing care to patients such as patient assessments, patient/caregiver education, responding to emergency patient needs
Exceptional time management skills, good clinical judgement, and the ability to multi-task
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times; Strictly follows HIPAA laws and regulations
Participates in staff meetings and in-services as required
Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and patients
Abides by organizational policies and procedures as well as state/federal rules/regulations
Qualification
Required
At least one year of registered nursing experience
Active, unrestricted nursing license in their state of practice
BLS certification
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN required
Exceptional time management skills
Good clinical judgement
Ability to multi-task
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times
Strictly follows HIPAA laws and regulations
Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and patients
Abides by organizational policies and procedures as well as state/federal rules/regulations
Preferred
Two years of nursing experience
One year of experience with infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills and emergency patient care
