Responsibilities
Commission, start up, and operate GE wind turbines
Troubleshoot and maintain turbine systems (both up-tower and down-tower)
Follow GE commissioning documentation and LOTO procedures
Complete required documentation (commissioning checklists, timesheets, service reports)
Safely operate fleet vehicles and attend regular on-site safety meetings
Work at heights and travel 100% of the time
Collaborate with commissioning leads and site teams to ensure safe, efficient execution
Qualification
Required
High-School diploma or equivalent
Experience using basic power tools
Valid driver's license. No DWI/DUI/OUI in the last 5 years
Ability to communicate in English Proficiently
Microsoft Office Experience proficiency
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to climb up to 300 ft. twice daily
GE 1.X, 2.X, 3.X, Sierra, Cypress Fundamental or Turbine Basic Certifications (required)
Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork
Ability to work under challenging conditions and travel 100% of the time
Required experience: GE 1.X, 2.X, 3.X Basic or GE 1.X, 2.X, 3.X Turbine Fundamental Certifications
Preferred
Basic wind technician certs strongly preferred
Tower Rescue
Active CPR/First Aid/AED Certificate
OSHA 10, LOTO
Established Winda ID for confirmation
GWO (BTTB, BTTM, BTTE, BTTH, ART)
