Credit Analyst II/III

The Credit Analyst II/III is responsible for daily operations, employee training, and reporting of the credit department, including new counterparty setups and monitoring credit exposures. The role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with various teams to support commercial decisions in commodity marketing strategy.

Responsibilities
Establishes credit limits for new and existing counterparties
Processes issuance and amendments of collateral instruments
Reviews A/R for counterparties and monitors credit exposure
Reviews and approves counterparty contracts; handles counterparty inquiries
Produces reports of credit activities and operations
Performing Counterparty exposure management using real time Credit System
Negotiating, implementing, and managing credit support instruments
Proactively managing credit related settings of electronic trading platforms such as ICE
Performing financial modeling to support establishment of Credit Limits
Representing Williams at conferences and working groups
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree business, finance or accounting and minimum of three (3) years working in an accounting/finance environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business; a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in Finance/Accounting/Business
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and PC skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Detailed understanding of financial documents and ratio analysis
Ability to present information and respond to questions from management and counterparties
Comfortable meeting deadlines and changing priorities
Able to mentor employees and provide feedback on operational improvements
Preferred
A minimum of five (5) years oil and gas experience in an accounting/finance area
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business; a minimum of seven (7) years of Finance or Accounting experience in the oil and gas industry
