Responsibilities
Prepare engineering drawings, schematics, and design plans with minimal oversight
Assist senior engineers with research, design, and client communications
Perform technical calculations, analysis, and design in compliance with engineering principles and regulations
Edit and develop project specifications under direction
Conduct site inspections, surveys, and collect data for analysis
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates
Collaborate with regulatory agencies, architects, and multidisciplinary teams
Support project leadership to ensure scope, budget, and schedules are met
Provide guidance and training to junior staff members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR
Associate's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with hydrology and hydraulics software
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
FE certification a plus
Ability to travel and attend client or company meetings
Pre-employment drug test, background check, and valid driver's license required
