Responsibilities
You will have specific business development targets
Program and manage technical or functional projects in the telecom space from inception through testing and release in an Agile environment
Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
Direct complex projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents and solution partners through all phases of the SDLC
Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters
Meet with your team members to give constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance
Deliver senior advisory services to Senior Management and above in support of technology-enabled business change, e.g.: package & third-party integrator selection, vendor selection, application studies, solution architecture studies and/or program diagnostics and recovery
Providing key decision support, monitoring issues and risks, and creating mitigation plans for clients
Leading organizational changes and business process improvements with clients
Decompose key business problems to identify value areas and structure and implement complex technology solutions for the client
Create innovative and differentiated offerings, staying relevant and in sync with market demand and technology evolution
Meet with client staff daily to understand key issues with how they operate today and identify opportunities for improvement in their operations and technology landscape
Supporting the development of improved capabilities in clients across business processes, people and technology
Developing business cases and implementing roadmaps to support investment decisions
Identify and qualify additional business opportunities
Prepare solutions and proposals and present them to clients
In addition to delivering at the client site, you will be tasked in productizing Excelacom’s work, contributing to our Center of Excellence and working on Excelacom proposals to customers as well
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's with distinction or honors, preferably in Computer Science or related field (Master's or MBA in a relevant subject highly preferred)
Prior consulting experience required – looking for 6+ years' experience – with a leading strategy firm, Big 4 consulting practice, consulting arms of main technology firms including expertise in enterprise architecture as well as business solutions deployment
Prior experience in Telecommunications, Media, or Cable - must possess a business industry knowledge
Past success in generating new business with existing clients
Highly collaborative, team-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead project working groups and possesses strong facilitation and data gathering skills
Excellent written and verbal communication that is effective to all levels in an organization and the ability to interact with technical and non-technical personnel
Good time management skills
