Responsibilities
Install, pull, terminate and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces
Install projection screens, plasma TVs and different types of speakers. Installation of AV systems on client sites
Read blueprints and wire AV racks. Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment
Demonstrate a thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware and software
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all wire and connector types on all AV related cable
Oversee and mentor local junior staff members, as applicable
Coordinate with Government customers to schedule and prepare for AV/VTC events
Provide preventative and corrective maintenance for local AV/VTC equipment and rooms
Ensure that AV/VTC events are kicked off on time and that event quality is maintained throughout the event
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years of relevant experience
US Citizenship is required
Applicants must have and maintain a minimum of a DoD Secret security clearance
Must have and maintain at least one (1) DoD 8140/8570 IAT II compliant certification (ex: CompTIA Sec+ CE)
Must have and maintain at least one (1) qualified computing environment certification, such as Cisco CCS Collaboration Core, CCNA, or CCNP Collaboration Certification
Candidates must reside within commutable distance of one of the following locations in order to work onsite full-time: Fort Belvoir, VA; Battle Creek, MI; Philadelphia, PA; Pearl Harbor, HI; Columbus, OH; Ogden, UT; New Cumberland, PA; Richmond, VA; Tracy, CA
Preferred
A current DoD Top Secret clearance is preferred
