Provides scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems within the physical plant
Works as a team member with other preventive maintenance technicians to assure that equipment receives complete maintenance at appropriate intervals
Seeks to prolong the useful life of equipment and reduce the downtime
Designs efficient routes for preventive maintenance
Maintains preventive maintenance records and submits to the shift supervisor in a timely manner as specified
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Four years of facilities maintenance
Good team member
Must ask for help and offer assistance when needed
Knowledge of and ability to use wide assortment of tools needed for preventive maintenance
Strong mechanical, plumbing and/or electrical aptitude while maintaining license in specific skill/expertise
Maintains preventive maintenance records and submits to the shift supervisor in a timely manner as specified
