Archaeologist
CorSource is seeking archaeologists at all career stages who are passionate about the inventory, evaluation, protection, and management of prehistoric and historic resources. The role involves a mix of hands-on archaeological fieldwork and collaborative office-based work, contributing to meaningful projects that protect cultural heritage and support environmental initiatives.

Responsibilities
Plan and conduct archaeological fieldwork, including pedestrian surveys, subsurface testing, and site monitoring
Research and evaluate cultural resources for potential listing on the National Register of Historic Places
Prepare detailed technical reports, cultural resource management plans, and compliance documentation
Support Section 106 and NEPA processes, assessing cultural resource considerations and potential impacts
Collaborate with federal, state, tribal, and community partners
Contribute to project planning, contract scopes of work, and deliverable reviews
Maintain cultural resource records in compliance with applicable standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field
Archaeological field and analytical experience (amount and scope can vary)
Knowledge of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), particularly Section 106
Ability to conduct archaeological inventories and prepare clear, detailed reports
Preferred
Experience in the Columbia River Basin
Familiarity with NEPA processes
Skills in GIS and GPS technology
Understanding of reservoir impacts, electrical transmission systems, and/or habitat restoration programs
