2+ years expThe Wilkinson Firm is seeking a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS or LCAS-A) to serve as a Clinical Leader-in-Training for a confidential behavioral health provider in Eastern North Carolina. This role ensures clinical continuity and leadership coverage across multiple sites when Clinical Managers are unavailable, while providing mentorship and support to other professionals.

Responsibilities
Provide assessment, documentation review, and clinical coverage across multiple outpatient program sites
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, reassessments, and diagnostic updates
Co-sign and support development of Person-Centered Plans (PCPs), treatment plans, and service notes
Step in for Clinical Managers during planned or emergency absences
Mentor and support Qualified Professionals and Associate Professionals across locations
Participate in internal compliance reviews, documentation audits, and leadership briefings
Prepare for advancement into a Clinical Manager or Program Supervisor role
Qualification
Required
Active LCAS or LCAS-A in North Carolina
2+ years in behavioral health or substance use treatment settings
Familiarity with Medicaid and licensure requirements
Eager to grow into a supervisory or clinical management role
Willing to travel between site locations (mileage reimbursed)
Preferred
Candidates within 30-60 days of LCAS exam strongly encouraged to apply
