Responsibilities

Perform critical psychological services and a wide variety of professional work such as psychological assessments, evaluation, crisis intervention and psychotherapy to youth and adolescents in probation facilities
Provide individual and group therapy, perform clinical duties, and may coordinate and oversee the training of psychology interns
Participate in case consultations, evaluations, crisis intervention and support of staff in Child Welfare Services
Provide guidance regarding mental health, secondary traumatic stress and other related issues under the guidance of a managing clinical psychologist
Perform individual psychotherapy, capacity evaluation, Behavioral Care planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, group therapy, and integration with other disciplines to provide a therapeutic milieu for patients that have complex medical and psychiatric and psychosocial conditions
Participate in setting and writing policies and procedures, chairing the Quality of Life Committee, attending the Quality Council Committee, and supervising the Social Work Department

Required

Licensure by the State of California as a Psychologist
Graduation from an accredited U.S. college or university, or certified foreign studies equivalency with a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical, community or educational psychology
Four (4) years post-doctoral experience in a mental health, forensic or correctional setting
A valid National Provider Identification Number (NPI) is required at time of employment
