Responsibilities

Manage the 24 hour a day functions of health-system throughput, transfer center, quality, and delivery of care
Participate in the coordination of global clinical programs for designated patient populations
Collaborate with health system clinical teams to facilitate patient admissions, discharges, intra-hospital and inter-facility transfer processes
Assure compliance with mandated clinical interventions inclusive of core measures within all system hospitals and entities
Oversee daily Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) activities, which includes but is not limited to, policy and program development, staff training, patient assessments, patient throughput, managing patient emergencies and supporting patient-centered care

Required

Registered Professional Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner
Experience in managing health-system throughput and transfer center operations

Experience collaborating with health system clinical teams
Understanding of patient admissions, discharges, and transfer processes
Knowledge of mandated clinical interventions and core measures
Experience in policy and program development
Ability to conduct staff training
Experience in patient assessments and managing patient emergencies
Commitment to supporting patient-centered care
