Responsibilities

Perform geotechnical field investigations. This may include boring layouts, drilling inspections, and running geophysical surveys

Coordinate and assist with managing the scope of services provided by subcontract drilling firms

Perform visual classification and laboratory testing of soil samples

Perform geotechnical field inspections during the construction phase, as needed

Assist in preparing geotechnical engineering reports

Participate in meetings with design team, stakeholders, and clients

Qualification

Required

B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field

0 to 2 years of progressive experience in the geotechnical engineering field

EIT license is a plus

Effective verbal and written communication

This position occasionally requires carrying 50-70 pounds
