As an Energy Systems Modeler and Analyst, you will advance energy modeling capabilities and support customers in achieving sustainability and operational goals by developing analytical tools and collaborating directly with clients.

Responsibilities
Developing and integrating with market data APIs for power prices, carbon intensity, and weather forecasts
Implementing a host of time series analysis techniques including AI/ML-drive methods for predictive maintenance and energy forecasting
Developing and deploying techno-economic analysis (TEA) models to optimize facility operations and project sizing
Collaborating directly with customers to refine and deploy solutions tailored to their project development and operational needs
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience and/or advanced degrees in energy analytics and techno-economic analysis, preferably in an early-stage or growth-stage company
Working knowledge of energy markets and different types of novel energy technology
Comfortable managing multiple analytical projects at once
High attention to detail and ability to prioritize independently in a low-structure, high-trust environment
Excellent communication and coordination skills across remote, distributed teams
